Will you be popping into the secret hide out and playing with their wares??

Would you? Like going into a restaurant and smelling everything if you can't afford a meal

Not really the same though is it, you could have a play with the Hang's where as if you went into a restaurant you wouldn't be able to try eveything on the menu before you bought something. Well maybe in some restaurants you can others would just have you out the back washing dishes for a day or two! :D

I've walked into shops and tried out instruments without having the cash to buy one... how do you know you're gonna like it if you don't try it? i suppose in that respect though it's like Crystal Meth, once you've touched it you're hooked... then you'd sell your wife just to get one....Now there's a thought..... :D

Simone, we're going to Switzerland!!!!!

Resistance is useless! Resistance is useless!

It's only a matter of time before DFUK becomes HFUK and The Gathering becomes The Hanging

Can't help wondering what a dozen Hangs with different tuning sound like when they're played together

Like when two or more didges are played at the same time... bloody awful.

Hangs need to be banned now. If we don't stop this now it will be too late to stem the tide of destruction these dented woks will spread around the planet. Trust me, i know, it happened on Pluto and now look at it, it isn't even recognised as a planet any more.

Ooooh a new world record is calling... Hang Fest UK has a certain ring to it... and the Hanging... well to be fair it could be called that anyway judging by some of the bods first thing in the morning after a session the night before.

What's wrong with me getting another one Stan... you love it! :D

Because one gets played nearly all day and night at didge fests. If you had two then two will get played nearly all day and night at didge fests.

Yeah you're right... I suppose the sound of drums until 5am is much more pleasing on the ear :o

The Hang is a beautiful instrument with wonderful sounds, I don't get how you can't like it... I'll bring it to Devon at the end of the month and let you have a play... I know you're dying to get your mitts on it! :D

Kelly, i accept that it can be a very nice instrument and make very nice music. But pentatonic instruments can become extremely monotonous, especially when they're being played non stop pass the parcel style by all and sundry.

I have a terrible admission to make. It may be me who was responsible for bringing the Hang to the UK. I borrowed one off my mate a few years back and brought it over to show a few people...

Sorry Loretta!
