Guys,

Can anyone offer any advice about moving to Australia? I have decided to apply for a 457 visa and try to get out there for a few years. I don't know where to start though - the task seems massive. Has anyone dealt with any good agencies that can help with this?

Thanks for any help.

Dan

Anything to do with getting a visa to live/work in Australia is riddled with difficulty and I don't blame them. It's a lovely country and they don't want it polluted with riff raff, freeloaders and criminals. The UK could learn a lot from the Aussies!! Looks like the first step is to try to find an employer who is willing to employ you and who belongs to the scheme. Maybe try searching on line for jobs in OZ for your profession and go from there. If the employer is familiar with the visa system he/she may be able to assist
