Hi all. This is my first post on here in months. I am very very happy to see the board is still going.

Best wishes to all!

Very well mate, and hope all is good with you too.
I'm back in England for Christmas and New Year, and have found three of my sticks stashed carefully under the bed; feels good playing them again, and am wondering whether to bring another back to Mexico to my collection there. 'Pulling' harder than ever, and still come on here quite often to read the old faces, and see what the new ones are doing.
Hope everyone is well, and still wondering what ever happened to our rugby man, Mr. Flyangler???
Peace, and all the very best.

Hey Zed,

Enjoying our frosty days?

Jason is still around although he blogs, tweets and facebooks more these days. You can find him easily enough if you search for Jason Konopinski.

Good to hear you've been reacquainted with your long lost sticks! If they speak to you then take 'em home (to Mexico)!

Kyle

Hey Kyle,

Hope all is good with you mate. The frost is a welcome sight, and much needed. Funny thing, is that I live 7,000 feet above sea level, and coming down to sea level, bloody hell, that extra energy I have is surreal; I can't put the sticks down! The air is much thinner over in Mexico City.
Thanks for the tip on Jason, and hope all's well with him too.
I have to think carefully about bringing an instrument back, as they are all signed by their makers, and I look at them now more as pieces of highly valuable prized art. What's a person to do when we all play the greatest instrument in the World?????
Have a great Christmas, and all the best to the growing family.
Peace,
Zed.

As I recall, back in the heady days of the busy didj forum, you definitely posted more often than I, but my posts were usually about 10,000 words long, so who posted more depends on what measure you're using. :)

Hey folks. Good to see some traffic out on this forum.

I am new and my circular breathing is atrocious!

But I soldier on with my home made PVC didge For starters.

Cheers From Cedarburg, WI. USA

knowing there are lurkers, I will continue to dig into some of the older threads and try not to ask all the typical impatient rookie questions.

Hey you lot I have not lurked for a while but find myself lurking about tonight.

Happy holidays to you all.

Kyle already knows my news, but for any of you who's interested I and family am moving back to Aus early in 2013 so no more Tapeley park weekends for me. I know I will miss them, but not so sure that I will be missed. Just seemed to go there to muck about with spears and stuff eh Kyle!

Oh yeah if anyone is interested I wanna try to sell this Banyawarra stick B4 I go.

Any sensible offers?

Hey Nick

sure you will be missed! I always enjoyed your company at the Tapeley Meetings. Which part in Australia are you moving to?

Cheers
Christian

See look at that Christian, it has been over a month since I was last "Lurking"!

Yeah I have really enjoyed hanging with you guys at Tapely, throwing sticks around and making stuff. It is a great weekend to enjoy some like-minded company and just chill. I will miss the Gathering a great deal.

We are heading to the North NSW coast, to a town that goes by the name of Coff's Harbour, the home of the Big Banana! http://www.bigbanana.com/ridesandattractions.html It is a nice beach town about 6 or so hours drive north of Sydney.

My sister lived a little bit north of Coff's at a place called Yamba for a while, and I used to visit her there in the early 90's (that 1990's to you younguns out there). So it is an area I know fairly well and, well, to be honest, am really looking forward to getting back to. I might even take up surfing again!

There is a fairly good didge shop nearby in Belingen I hear, so I can see myself occasionally popping over there for a session with the proprietor.

Don't know about work or any of those other fancy details yet, but will see what we can make of life when we get there!
