Though I wonder how much of this positioning comes from the galleries, and how much comes from Hill himself?

Speaking as a former Gallery Director, I would say a bit of both - the common position is to utilise whatever bests markets the man and his art. In this case his heritage and political stance are both being employed as important artistic factors.

I'm aware that he plays didj as well - are you in discussions with Adam about coming over to the UK or something?

Sorry if this was out of context, I was pretty rushed this morning! No, I haven't been in communication with this artist, I'm not mad about his artistic style but i can relate to his intent to portray 'provacative art' and visual activism to bring about and help inspire change!

Cheers,

Colin
